Edinburgh Stonemasons Ltd were asked to carry out a building inspection to the stone work on the iconic Camera Obscura building. We used rope access as means of access to carry out a detailed building survey in Edinburgh.
This involved carrying out the inspection and work at 4am for safety reasons due to this locations heavy footfall during the day. This is involved checking all the stonework and making sure it was made safe to the public. Our highly skilled and experienced stonemasons are trained in using rope access, making us one of the only companies to have these skills.
